Coaching Expectations

I'm fortunate to have the best clients in the world because they are motivated to improve their leadership and management skills.

Both coach and client have expectations which need to be shared for the most productive results to be acheived. As your coach please let me know what you expect from me and what is or is not working for you. Together we can make adjustments to better serve your growth and development.

Following are several items which I expect from you and the coaching experience:

  • I expect the best efforts from people I coach and will challenge you to give your best. I will support you in every way that I can.
  • You are in control as to what decisions you make, and actions you will take. I only ask that you listen with an open mind to ideas and approaches that are suggested.
  • If it is apparent you are indecisive or using avoiding behaviors, I will ask you about it. These times are opportunities for real growth as problems are faced and resolved.
  • Let me know at any time if you have too much "on your plate" or you are not making good progress.
  • Consistency in coaching is important. I ask that you commit to at least 3 months of coaching to see results, however, shorter periods of coaching for special projects can be arranged.
  • You can call me at any time to discuss anything on your mind--problems, successes, breakthroughs, schedule changes. Leave a message. If I'm not in I will get back to you.
